How it works and how to install
The LED strip is powered at 12V DC via a compatible power supply (purchased separately). Installation is straightforward: clean the surface, peel off the protective film from the adhesive tape, and firmly apply it to the desired surface. No electrician intervention is required — the terminal connector connects directly to the two-wire power supply.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a separate power supply or is it included in the package?
The 12V DC power supply is not included and must be purchased separately. Choose a power supply with a minimum power of 60W for a 5-meter roll.
Can the LED strip be used in the bathroom or outdoors?
No. This strip has IP20 protection, which means it is intended exclusively for dry indoor spaces, without exposure to moisture or water.
Can I connect multiple rolls one after another?
Yes, the rolls can be connected in series, but the power supply must have sufficient power for the total length used. It is not recommended to exceed 10 meters per circuit without a properly sized power supply.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
