How it works and how to install
The tape has two distinct layers attached on the reverse side: a soft textile part and a part with microscopic hooks. When you overlap them, the hooks grip the textile fibers, creating a strong adhesion. Cut the desired length, wrap it around the cables, and close the tape onto itself — done, the cables are secured. For reorganization, detach without residue, adjust, and re-close. No glue or tools required.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
