How it works and how to install it
The strip is powered by a 24V DC transformer or power supply (purchased separately), with a minimum power of 55W for the entire 5-meter roll. Installation is done by direct adhesion with adhesive tape on clean and dry surfaces, or by insertion into an aluminum profile with a diffuser for a finished look. The strip can be cut at the markings printed on the PCB, and connection is made with 8mm COB connectors, without soldering or advanced electrical knowledge.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
