How it works and how to install it
The amplifier is ideally mounted at the entrance of the TV cable into the property: connect the main cable to the IN marked input jack, and the two cables going to the TVs to the OUT jacks. After connecting the power cable to a 220V outlet, adjust the signal gain with a screwdriver by rotating the red potentiometer on the top panel until you get the desired image. Installation does not require advanced technical knowledge and is completed in a few minutes.

Does it work without being plugged in?
Yes, without power the device functions as a simple passive splitter, but it will not amplify the signal — the image may be weaker on both TVs.
Is it compatible with Digi TV or Orange TV?
Yes, the amplifier is compatible with all cable TV networks in Romania, including Digi, Orange TV and Vodafone TV, as well as standard satellite distributions.
Can I connect more than 2 TVs to this model?
The 8830D2T model has two outputs, so it supports a maximum of 2 TVs. For more TVs, a version with 3 or 4 outputs is needed.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
