How it works and how to install it
The battery stores electrical energy through an electrochemical reaction between lead plates and the AGM electrolyte absorbed into fiberglass separators. You connect the terminals to your electrical system respecting polarity (red +, black -), and charging is done automatically via a dedicated charger or solar panel controller. For maximum lifespan, recharge the battery every 30 days even if you haven't used it.
Installation takes less than 5 minutes — secure the battery in a stable position, connect the cables to the F2/T2 terminals, and check the system's operation. No special tools or advanced technical knowledge are required.

How long does the battery last during a power outage?
It depends on the power consumption of the connected equipment. At a consumption of 1A, the battery provides approximately 10 hours of autonomy. For an alarm system that consumes 0.5A, you will have about 20 hours of backup.
Can I use the battery for a solar panel?
Yes, it is compatible with 12V solar systems via an appropriate charge controller. Ensure that the charging voltage does not exceed 14.4V to prevent damage.
Do I need to add acid or water to the battery?
No, AGM technology is completely sealed and maintenance-free. It does not require liquid refills throughout the battery's life.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
