Boiler thermostat with precise temperature adjustment
The boiler thermostat with green protection is the component that maintains the water temperature at the desired level, automatically stopping heating when the set threshold is reached. Compatible with most domestic and industrial electric boilers on the market, it is inserted directly into the heating element sleeve. The ideal solution for replacing a faulty thermostat without changing the entire boiler.
What you get with this product
- Precise water temperature control between 10°C and 80°C — you set exactly what you need, without the risk of overheating
- Integrated overheating protection — the thermostat automatically interrupts the circuit if the safety limit is exceeded
- Compatible with standard electric boilers — the universally designed rod fits most models sold in Romania
- Quick replacement without complex intervention — it is mounted directly into the existing heating element sleeve, without special tools
- 6.3mm male connectors included — contacts are ready for connection, without additional adapters
- Works in a wide voltage range of 100V-250V AC — compatible with standard Romanian and European electrical grids
How it works and how to install it
The rod thermostat detects water temperature through the metal probe inserted into the boiler heating element sleeve. When the water reaches the temperature set by the adjustment potentiometer, the electrical circuit is automatically interrupted, stopping the heating element. Installation involves removing the old thermostat, inserting the rod into the existing sleeve, and reconnecting the terminals — an operation that can be performed by an authorized plumber or electrician in approximately 15-20 minutes.
Frequently asked questions
Is this thermostat compatible with my electric boiler?
The JCZ301 rod thermostat is compatible with most standard electric boilers on the market that use a heating element with a sleeve. Check the diameter of the heating element sleeve before ordering.
What does overheating protection mean and how does it work?
The thermostat has a safety limiter (S 85°C) that permanently interrupts the circuit if the temperature exceeds the safety threshold. It is reset manually after identifying the cause of overheating.
At what temperature does the safety protection activate?
According to the visible marking on the product (F70 / S85), the normal operating temperature is 70°C, and the safety limiter activates at 85°C.
