How it works and how to install it
The rod thermostat detects water temperature through the metal probe inserted into the boiler heating element sleeve. When the water reaches the temperature set by the adjustment potentiometer, the electrical circuit is automatically interrupted, stopping the heating element. Installation involves removing the old thermostat, inserting the rod into the existing sleeve, and reconnecting the terminals — an operation that can be performed by an authorized plumber or electrician in approximately 15-20 minutes.

Is this thermostat compatible with my electric boiler?
The JCZ301 rod thermostat is compatible with most standard electric boilers on the market that use a heating element with a sleeve. Check the diameter of the heating element sleeve before ordering.
What does overheating protection mean and how does it work?
The thermostat has a safety limiter (S 85°C) that permanently interrupts the circuit if the temperature exceeds the safety threshold. It is reset manually after identifying the cause of overheating.
At what temperature does the safety protection activate?
According to the visible marking on the product (F70 / S85), the normal operating temperature is 70°C, and the safety limiter activates at 85°C.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
